Books that teach founders
to listen first

Copperhill House publishes practical guides for entrepreneurs who believe evidence should come before execution.

Built on a simple conviction

Most startup resources teach founders how to build faster. Copperhill House exists because we believe the harder, more important work comes earlier. The work of learning whether you should build at all.

We publish field-tested methodologies for entrepreneurs, incubators, and accelerator programs. Our books are designed to be used, not admired on a shelf. They come with frameworks, worksheets, and interactive tools that turn reading into action.

Copperhill House is an imprint of Softlinc, Inc., based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Becoming Unstuck

From Gift-Wrapped Indifference to Authentic Demand

People will smile, nod, and tell you your idea is great. Then never buy a thing. Ed Rieker calls this "gift-wrapped indifference," and it kills more startups than bad technology ever will.

Becoming Unstuck is the field guide that teaches founders how to tell the difference between polite encouragement and authentic demand, through micro-interactions, micro-offers, and a Fast Filter that pressure-tests any idea in two hours.

Ed Rieker

Ed Rieker is a serial entrepreneur and inventor who built four healthcare software companies, resulting in three acquisitions, two by public companies. He holds a US patent for automated health insurance verification.

As a Venture Catalyst at Georgia Tech's ATDC and through Emory University's Startup Launch program, he has guided hundreds of founders through early-stage validation. The frameworks in Becoming Unstuck emerged from patterns he observed across those teams: the same mistakes, the same breakthroughs, and the same moments when founders finally understood what their customers actually needed.
